After having mum asking me for a week to make her some macaroons, I thought I'd give them a go. I had never made macaroons before, let alone tasted one. When I found this recipe with just 2 ingredients, I didn't think they would work. I had to see for myself... AND TADA they worked.
- 250g shredded coconut
- 395g tin of condensed milk
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celcius.
2. Mix the condensed milk and coconut together in a large bowl.
3. Drop teaspoons on mixture onto an oven tray lined with baking paper.
if you like, using the top of a wooden spoon, make a shallow dent in the top of your ball. After your macaroons have been baked, you can fill this dent with a jam of your choice.
4. Bake for 10 minutes.
